1. Scope

This policy explains how JAQL collects, uses, stores, transfers and protects personal data of visitors and customers of jumpstartquantumlabs.org, stresstrace.com, quantama.life, mitradarpanai.com, civiqiq.io and jaqlnv-7.com.

2. Data we collect

Identity & contact data: name, work email, organisation, phone — when you submit a form or chat lead.
Usage data: pages viewed, referrer, approximate location (country/city derived from IP), device, browser, timestamps.
Cookies / similar tech: a single first-party preference cookie and (if you consent) analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4).
Chatbot inputs: messages you type into the JACKAL assistant. Stored in your browser only unless you explicitly submit a lead.

3. Why we process it (lawful basis)

Contract / pre-contract (GDPR Art 6(1)(b); DPDP s.7(a)): responding to demo, PQC review or product inquiries.
Legitimate interests (GDPR Art 6(1)(f)): site security, fraud prevention, improving our products.
Consent (GDPR Art 6(1)(a); DPDP s.6): analytics cookies, marketing emails — opt-in only, withdrawable anytime.
Legal obligation (GDPR Art 6(1)(c); DPDP s.7(b)): tax, accounting, regulator requests.

4. How we use it

Reply to inquiries and book meetings.
Send transactional emails (proposals, contracts, deployment updates).
Measure site traffic and improve content (only with consent).
Protect against abuse and secure our systems.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use it to train third-party LLMs.

5. Sharing & sub-processors

Limited sharing with vetted sub-processors under DPAs:

Hosting/CDN: Cloudflare, Vercel/Lovable.
Email delivery: Google Workspace.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (only if you consent).

6. International transfers

Some sub-processors are outside India / the EEA. Transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (GDPR) and notified country list / model contractual clauses under DPDP. Sovereign / on-prem product deployments stay within the customer's chosen jurisdiction.

7. Retention

Inquiry / lead data: up to 24 months after last contact, then deleted or anonymised.
Contractual records: 8 years (statutory).
Analytics: 14 months (GA4 default).

8. Your rights

Under DPDP and GDPR you may:

Access a copy of your data and a summary of processing.
Correct, complete or update inaccurate data.
Erase your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention.
Withdraw consent (analytics, marketing) at any time.
Port your data to another controller (GDPR).
Nominate a representative (DPDP) to exercise rights in case of death or incapacity.
Lodge a complaint — Data Protection Board of India (DPDP) or your EU supervisory authority (GDPR).

9. Security

TLS in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access, audit logs, periodic penetration testing, and — given our PQC focus — a documented post-quantum migration roadmap for our own systems.

10. Children

Our services are B2B. We do not knowingly collect data of anyone under 18 (DPDP definition of "child"). Parental/guardian consent applies where required.

11. Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies (session, security) are set by default. Analytics cookies load only after you click Accept on the cookie banner. You can change your choice anytime by clicking reset cookie preferences.

12. Changes

We will post material changes here and, where required, notify you by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Exercise your Data Rights (DPDP & GDPR DSAR)

Submit a Data Subject Access Request (GDPR Art. 15–22) or Data Principal request (DPDP s. 11–14). We acknowledge within 72 hours and respond within 30 days. Verification of identity may be required.
