Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.jumpstartquantumlabs.org and any products, services, content or communications (collectively, the "Services") provided by Jumpstart AI and Quantum Labs Private Limited ("JAQL", "we", "us"). By accessing the Services you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. Use on behalf of an organisation is on the basis that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. Permitted use & anti-reverse-engineering
The Services are made available for lawful business and informational use. You may not, and may not permit any third party to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, decrypt, translate, adapt or otherwise attempt to derive or reconstruct the source code, underlying algorithms, model weights, prompts, embeddings, training data, architectures, frameworks or trade secrets of any JAQL product, service, API, model or framework (including HIQTF, CAQSG, "Governing at the Speed of Thought", StressTrace, RiyaRisk, JAQLNV-7, MitraDarpan, CiviqIQ, Quantama, Sikdoo AI and ABAP TARO AI); (b) circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical, cryptographic, licensing or rate-limiting controls; (c) use the Services, their outputs, benchmarks or behaviour to train, fine-tune, evaluate or develop any competing model, product, service or dataset; (d) scrape, crawl, harvest or extract content, embeddings or telemetry except as expressly permitted in writing; (e) probe, scan or test the security of any system without prior written authorisation; (f) remove, obscure or alter any proprietary notice, watermark or attribution; (g) misrepresent your identity, authority or affiliation; or (h) breach any applicable law including India DPDP Act 2023, EU GDPR, EU DORA, export-control rules or sanctions regimes. The prohibition in clause (a) applies to the maximum extent permitted by law and is not limited by any local statutory exception unless that exception is non-waivable. Breach of this section is a material breach for which JAQL may seek injunctive relief in addition to damages.
3. Intellectual property & trademarks
All intellectual property in and to the Services — including but not limited to source code, object code, models, model weights, prompts, datasets, schemata, designs, UI, copy, documentation, research papers, frameworks (HIQTF, CAQSG, "Governing at the Speed of Thought"), product names, logos, the JAQL mark, the tagline "Making quantum ordinary." and all derivative works thereof — is and remains the exclusive proprietary property of the founders, Dr. Nupur Mukherjee and Kishan Sathyan, and Jumpstart AI and Quantum Labs Private Limited, or its licensors. All rights are reserved. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership or grants any licence by implication, estoppel or otherwise, except a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to view this site for personal or internal business purposes. JAQL®, the JAQL logo, HIQTF™, CAQSG™, StressTrace™, RiyaRisk™, JAQLNV-7™, MitraDarpan™, CiviqIQ™, Quantama™, Sikdoo AI™ and ABAP TARO AI™ are trademarks (registered or pending) of Jumpstart AI and Quantum Labs Private Limited. Unauthorised use, reproduction, registration or imitation of any such mark is prohibited and will be enforced. SSRN preprints are authored by Dr. Nupur Mukherjee and Kishan Sathyan and licensed under the terms shown on SSRN; cite as "SSRN preprint, 2026".
4. Research & technology disclaimer
JAQL technology described on this site is quantum-inspired and runs on classical infrastructure. References to "quantum" describe the underlying inspiration and mathematical techniques, not the use of physical quantum hardware unless explicitly stated. Research papers cited are SSRN preprints (one in press); they are not described as peer-reviewed.
5. No professional advice
Content on the Services is provided for general information and does not constitute legal, financial, medical, cybersecurity, regulatory or other professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals before acting on any information.
6. Third-party links
The Services may link to third-party sites (including SSRN, LinkedIn, and Lovable). JAQL has no control over and accepts no responsibility for third-party content, terms or privacy practices.
7. Newsletter & communications
By subscribing you consent to receive the JAQL newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, by managing the LinkedIn newsletter from your LinkedIn account, or by emailing nupur@jumpstartquantumlabs.org with subject "Unsubscribe". Requests are honoured within 7 days.
8. Privacy
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JAQL's aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Services shall not exceed INR 10,000 or the amount paid by you to JAQL in the prior twelve months, whichever is greater. JAQL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JAQL, its directors, employees and agents from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services.
11. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate access at any time for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability, governing law) survive termination.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be flagged on this page.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction of residence (including EU GDPR Article 79 rights).
